This week on Speak Up Speak Out Radio, Jodie Buller talks with Rebecca Schlat from Helping Hands Food Bank in Sedro Woolley and Jerry Shackette from Friendship House in Mount Vernon, about Hunger Action Month, a national campaign through FeedingAmerica.org, which highlights ways that people can raise awareness and take action to solve hunger. This year, community organizations are partnering up in Skagit, Whatcom, and Snohomish counties for food drives, Project Homeless Connect (at SVC September 10th), and other events to raise funds and food to help feed our communities.
