Ginny Wolff hosts this selection of reflections of members of the Delta 5, recorded at a celebratory gathering of supporters following their trial in January, 2016. The Delta 5 were arrested and tried for trespassing in the Delta rail yard in Everett and attempting to stop an oil train in Sept. 2014. Patrick Mazza, Abby Brockway, Jackie Minchew and Mike LaPointe share their thoughts on why they chose an act of civil disobedience to showcase the critical need to adequately address climate change. You’ll hear their experiences at the trial itself, and words of appreciation for those who supported them. There is some impromptu a capella music mixed in as well.
