Resilient Thinking - 2016 Surge Festival - January 25, 2017

In partnership with Skagit Climate Science Consortium, Skagit Land Trust, Skagit Watershed Council, and the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, the Museum of Northwest Art, (MoNA), sponsors Surge, a week-long exhibition of art, science, and information centered on climate change and its impacts on Northwest coastal communities.

In this recording of the keynote address at Surge 2016, Steve Moddemeyer talks about the future of society through the lens of climate change, particularly in terms of resilience when thinking about built systems. Steve is a Principal specializing in sustainability at CollinsWoerman, a Seattle based architecture, planning and design firm.
