A recent crisis involving Farmworkers in Sumas with temporary H2A Visas highlights some of the challenges these workers face. The Reverend Josefina Beecher and Mary Kay Barbieri join Ginny Wolff to describe the crisis precipitated when adverse working conditions and the illness and ultimate death of a worker prompted about 70 men to protest. They were fired and expelled from the farm.
